Pink,pink, and more pink!!!
Now that we officially know we are having a girl, I can focus on girly specific decor. I've already purchased the bedding and pendant light :) The walls will be a pale grass green color. This is so much fun!!

15 Weeks
Baby is the size of a navel orange now. I finally felt some little baby flutters in bed last night!!! Very cool stuff. Only 6 more days until we find out the gender!!! Here are some pictures of the belly. The pants are from my first purchase of stretchy pants (maternity pants). Not the most flattering but, man, are they comfy!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
We're done refinishing the hardwood floors in all of the bedrooms and most of the new windows are all going in today. We're determined to get everything finished before the baby arrives.
We find out the baby's gender in a couple of weeks (02/26 @ 12:00pm) then I can get started painting and decorating the nursery. I have so many cute ideas on how I want to decorate. Let me know what you think:
I bought this bucket chair and fuzzy pillow online last week. I figured it would be a cheaper, more modern approach to the traditional glider.
I'm definitely going to get this cute little owl lamp (comes in 4 or 5 different colors):
In other news, my feet are disappearing.....

We're Gonna Have a Baby!!!!! &^@%*&^@%
I know I'm a little late in starting this blog but I figure, better late than never. Brian says I'm a huge dork, I say, I've got too much time on my hands and why not?
So, here are the deets: Baby will be here around August 14th. I'm currently about 13 weeks (and 2 days) along right now. Baby is the size of a peach. I've been sick a few times already but nothing too major. I finally got my energy back and feel really good except that I am bloated. ALL THE TIME. The fact that all I want to do is eat Mexican food and chocolate is definitely NOT helping. I'm limiting myself, of course, and drinking lots of water during the day. I love fruits and veggies as well so I get plenty of both but feel like I'm undoing all of the good with my sugar addiction lately.
We've already been to the doctor a few times. First appointment was just a basic information and history check, the second was our first ultrasound, and the third was to hear the cute little heartbeat and get a flu shot. Our next appointment is on March 3rd for another heartbeat check. We do not get another ultrasound with our doctor until March 31st sooooooooo, I went ahead and made an appointment on February 26th with another office to get a 3D ultrasound and determine the gender :) I'm impulsive and very impatient, I know. To say I'm excited would be an understatement!!!
How crazy is all this? It's starting to sink in that there will be another human in our family in less than a year!
I'll keep you all posted and get some belly pictures posted ASAP.
